Skateboarding, i love it! (picture: Merlijn Vets being hardcore, some time ago)

rough walk cycle (only one step done, looped)

I made this rough walk cycle very quickly, trying the same thing I did in my last animation class (thanx Hilaire for trying to teach me this :D).

storyboard for my final animation project at Syntra 2007-2008

Below is my early version of a storyboard for my final animation project at Syntra Hasselt 2007-2008. It contains dummy sounds as well. There's still a loooooooot of work to do!

a list of things i've done in the past

This is not just a list of things that I've done in the past... it's a chronicaling of my rise... to power! (thanx tenacious D) Below you'll find a small outtake of the stuff I've made, from almost ten years ago, until about a year ago I guess. I don't really know when I did certain things anymore, but I don't care really. Hope you enjoy your stay here on earth... and my blog as well. Here goes:

For the magnificent musical masterminds of the
priceduifkes

And some photoshop fun too (most containing up to 9 layers of extreme pleasure):

And some things for my baby too:

some skateboard designs I've made for a local company

Below are some designs i made for a local skateboard company called 'District Skateboards'. The designs shown here were not used in production. Two other designs I've made have been produced, and were well appreciated in the Belgian skate scene according to 'the big boss' of the company. Lucky me, hahaha!

my first animation project

The short animation below was my final project at the 2006-2007 animation class at Syntra Hasselt. It's the first (and untill now only) project I ever did in animation. As you can see, I've still got a (very) lot to learn! But as long as I keep having as much fun as I have doing it, I hope I will never stop learning. Special thanx go out to all my teachers, fellow students, my babe and everyone else who has helped or supported me throughout the course of animation, and of my whole life. (Now how deep is that shit?!) I hope you enjoy (keep watching untill the very last end, there's a surprise!):
